Client Assisted Apartment Approval means that we give you all the tools you need in order to obtain apartment approval but it’s up to you to do so! We supply the apartment, the required documents to submit, and give clear instructions about your apartment visit - for free!
Now it’s up to you to make the apartment visit, supply the application, pay the appropriate fees, and view the unit. Sounds simple, right? It really is that easy!

Enrollment begins with an overview of the ApprovAssist process. Each applicant must review the process and be able to answer simple, straightforward questions about our program. We do this to ensure that everyone is on the same page and so you know what to expect from us and what is expected of you! We run a ‘Client Assisted’ program which essentially means that we’re a team. We can’t do it without you! This overview will walk you through what’s expected.
After the brief walk-through of the program, you will be asked to complete an enrollment application form. Again, this is simple, straightforward, and should take no longer than 5-10 minutes to complete.Back to top
After you complete the overview/introduction and application, you will receive by email your full apartment contact list.
Please note: TruQuill searches for and locates an apartment for you based on your rental criteria submitted through your enrollment application. Unless explicitly referred to us by an apartment complex, we do not take client requests for a certain property.

This is the Client Assisted Apartment Approval part - this is where your visit, coupled with our instructions and paperwork will obtain your apartment approval!
Once you receive the apartment documents, please visit your apartment ASAP! Units go quickly and the one you want today might not be available tomorrow! During your apartment visit you will discuss and view your desired unit with a leasing agent, present the information given to you in the information packet, and complete and pay for any application and holding fees that may the apartment might need. You are responsible for paying all fees including but not limited to - application fee, holding fee, security deposit, administration fees, background check, and corporate lease application processing fees. These charges are separate from the TruQuill service fees.
After your apartment visit you will submit your visit information to us via a link provided in your email along with your information packet. This information will let us know how your visit went, information for us to follow up with the apartment, and give an estimate as to when we can expect an approval decision.Back to top

YOU’RE APPROVED! Before we can sign the lease, and before you can pick up your keys and move in, a $250 Lease Signing Fee is due to TruQuill. We receive and review the lease including to verify that you and your family are listed correctly on the lease. Once the $250 is paid, we sign the lease and you are free to move in!

Rent is paid by you directly to the apartment every month just like a normal lease.
You will pay rent directly to the apartment each month ON BEHALF OF TRUQUILL. Remember, TruQuill is the leaseholder and we are allowing you to reside in the apartment as an occupant. Some apartments require an official check or bank check listing TruQuill as the remitter while others will accept personal checks.Back to top
After move-in, you must submit a copy of your rent receipt to us each month. This, along with your monthly TruQuill fee are due by the 5th of every month.
Other than following the rules laid out in your lease (very straightforward, don’t be too loud, don’t deal drugs, don’t have the police have to be called, etc.) the only other thing we require is that you submit a copy of your rent receipt to us each month along with your monthly TruQuill fee. Your TruQuill fee will be set once the exact rent amount is known and is payable each month, along with your rent receipt by the 5th. No exceptions. If not received by the 5th, TruQuill has the right to buy out the lease or remove you as an occupant, or both. Please, do not procrastinate in submitting these each month. You will receive several reminders at the beginning and end of each month.
